LOOKING FOR 513FREE MUSIC?
513FREE was a ministry I led from 2007–2019. During those twelve years, we traveled nationwide leading worship and sharing music in places often overlooked—prisons, rehab centers, homeless shelters, and beyond. Throughout that season, we released multiple albums, all created with the goal of making hope and the gospel freely accessible.
Because 513FREE operated as a non-profit, all music was removed from digital streaming platforms when the ministry concluded in 2019. Our music was never sold and has always been available at no cost.
While I occasionally re-release individual songs, much of the 513FREE catalog is not available online. If you’d like to download any or all of the music, please use the link below.
ABOUT
Jesse's journey, deeply entrenched in the transformative power of Jesus, exemplifies remarkable resilience against a multitude of challenges: generational curses, anxiety, depression, personal trials, spiritual abuse, a church division, and the desolate valleys of doubt and isolation. Since 2004, Jesse has been at the forefront of worship leadership, sharing his musical gift across a plethora of churches in the Midwest. His faith and dedication to the community were both tested and fortified through these adversities, mirroring the parable of the Prodigal Son as he navigated the intricacies of his faith journey.
These experiences, though profoundly painful, also acted as catalysts for growth and deepened understanding. They continue to teach him the significance of grace, forgiveness, and the relentless pursuit of genuine faith, even when the journey traverses through deep darkness.
In 2007, Jesse founded 513FREE, a music ministry that not only offered nearly 800 shows nationwide but also extended its impact through three full-length albums, spreading hope and the gospel in diverse venues, from prisons like Jefferson City Correctional, Cook County Jail, and Stateville Correctional to homeless shelters, rehab centers, and churches. Collaborating with Prison Fellowship Ministries, 513FREE reached both the incarcerated and the at-risk, integrating Jesse's passion for music with a bold mission to share faith across borders, including missions to Juarez, Mexico, and Haiti. This ministry's outreach, underscored by some songs receiving radio play, showcased a dynamic blend of live performances and recorded music, amplifying their message of hope and redemption to a broad audience.
Jesse's personal struggles, including the deep valleys of spiritual disillusionment, significantly influenced his songwriting, imbuing it with eclectic authenticity. His music—a blend of worship, pop/rock, hip-hop, and folk—narrates stories of struggle, faith, redemption, and the journey of returning from being a figurative "prodigal son." This diverse musical blend found resonance not just within church walls but also at Midwest music festivals and alongside artists like Phil Wickham and Jason Gray, spreading a message of hope, mercy, and grace.
Today, Jesse's narrative stands as a powerful testament to the strength derived from faith, the profound impact of daily following Jesus, and the power of returning home, regardless of the distance strayed. His life exemplifies the beauty of transformation that emerges from confronting and overcoming the deepest valleys, guided by the unwavering light of faith and the enduring promise of redemption.
